THE BOATING ACCIDENT VICTIM IS IDENTIFIED AS Leon Grant Jeane (W/M) 21 YOA form Evans, Louisiana.

BOAT ACCIDENT ON THE SABINE RIVER:
On July 16, 2023, at approximately 1544 hours, NCSO Dispatch Center received a call that a boating accident had occurred near the ATV Park near a sandbar in Burkeville. First Responders, NCSO Deputies, JP3 and Parks and Wildlife all responded to the scene. This incident is being investigated by Texas Parks and Wildlife.
