The Mennonite Disaster Service is in Jasper and Newton Counties!!

Doug Goertzen and Matt Troyer-Miller with MDS met with the Jasper-Newton Long Term Recovery Group on Tuesday, October 8, to go over projects for Jasper and Kirbyville. Damages were caused by flooding in Kirbyville and tornado in Jasper.

The JNLTRG were represented by Connie Hughes and Olen Bean.

Applications for work are still being taken at First Baptist Church in Kirbyville on Mondays. Work beings Monday, October 14.
