Matt Hopson is JCSO’s Employee of the month for March

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize Transport Deputy Matt Hopson for being chosen as the employee of the month for March. Deputy Hopson is a nine year veteran of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Chuck Havard said,” Deputy Hopson consistently goes above and beyond of what’s expected of him. Often times, he works long hours and travels throughout the United States either going to pick up Jasper County prisoners or dropping them off to agencies across the country. He takes his responsibilities seriously and he ensures that our prisoners are kept safe and secure until they reach their destination. When he’s not doing transports, he is our go to guy in the jail when it comes to getting things done. He also is in charge of writing most of our grants at the Sheriff’s Office to ease the burden on the taxpayers of Jasper County. His work is valued and appreciated and his efforts make Jasper County a safer place to live. Congratulations Matt.”

Sheriff Havard would like to thank all of the employees and their families for the sacrifices they make for the citizens of Jasper County.
