The Newton and Tyler Counties Toys for Tots campaign has officially kicked off preparations for the 2025 season, with organizers calling on the community to help bring Christmas joy to local children in need.
Last year, the campaign distributed more than 2,800 toys to 1,167 children across both counties.
“Every toy collected represents joy and hope for a child right here in our community,” said Community Coordinator Rita Ochs-Shipp. “Together, we can ensure no child is left out this Christmas.”
The campaign is currently seeking new and returning partners—businesses, churches, schools, and organizations willing to host official Toys for Tots donation boxes. Toys for Tots provides the boxes and posters, while participating partners are recognized on the national Toys for Tots Foundation website, social media, and through local media outlets.

More information about the Newton and Tyler Counties campaign, including how to volunteer, donate, or register as a drop-off site, is available at the official website: https://newton-tyler-counties-tx.toysfortots.org
