Leann Monk Announces Re-Election Bid for Tyler County Treasurer

Tyler County Treasurer Leann Monk has officially announced that she will seek another term in office, sharing her decision in a statement released this week.

Monk, who was first elected in 2019, said the opportunity to serve the county has been one of the greatest responsibilities of her career. She emphasized her continued commitment to the residents who rely on the Treasurer’s Office and the daily work of managing county funds.

In her announcement, Monk reflected on her time in office and expressed gratitude for the support she has received throughout her tenure.

“Since first taking office in 2019, I have been honored to serve my county as the Tyler County Treasurer. I love my county and the people I get to serve every day,” Monk said. “Each day I am reminded of this great privilege and the responsibility that comes with it. It has been the journey of a lifetime, and one in which I’d like to continue. With that being said, I am announcing my candidacy for re-election as your County Treasurer.
