LAKE RAYBURN, TEXAS - The Lake Rayburn Fire Department held their Open House and dedicated a new truck for their fleet on Saturday morning.
Fire fighters, volunteers and members of the Lake Rayburn Community gathered for the event which was highlighted by the traditional “Push-In” ceremony. A push-in ceremony marks the official placement of a new fire engine or truck into service.
Department officials said that the station covers in excess of 700 addresses throughout the northern portion of Jasper County. The Department is currently looking to complete a helipad at the site as another extension of their support to the Lake Rayburn area.
From a rescue boat to aerial support with drone capabilities, the Lake Rayburn Fire Department is another shining example of the importance of having multifunctional resources available for the communities they serve.
