Lake Rayburn and Jasper VFD's were called out to a structural fire Saturday evening

Lake Rayburn Volunteer Fire Department was called out to a structure fire on Hwy 96 just north of CR239. The Jasper Volunteer Fire Department was quickly requested as mutual aid.

The fire was mostly confined to the attic in the vicinity of the chimney.

Lake Rayburn responded with 4 apparatus and 11 firefighters responded. Jasper VFD responded with 3 apparatus and 12 personnel.

Both departments were tasked with the safety of animals and other valuables inside the residence. Keep this family in your prayers.
