KWCC Honors Graduating Seniors

Kirbyville Woman's Civic Club President, Royce Greer

Yesterday at our luncheon to recognize the graduates of our members and present Scholarships, the ladies of the GFWC Kirbyville Woman's Civic Club hosted Sarah Thames, Kamryn Loyd, and Karter Tomplait.

The students were presented with gift cards from the club for their accomplishments in their academic careers.

Sarah received our local scholarship of $1000. And Karter received the GFWC Magnolia District Scholarship in the amount of $2000. All 3 may apply next year for scholarships as they continue their education.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal and fellowship with 43 members and guests.

We want to thank our community for supporting us and our fundraising activities that allows us to provide this scholarship and other charitable donations to organizations.
