Kirbyville Public Library & ETB would like to Introduce: Down Memory Lane

The East Texas Banner is proud to partner with the Kirbyville Public Library to launch a new segment, Down Memory Lane. In a world that moves faster every day — where headlines refresh by the minute and distractions are everywhere — we invite you to slow down and take a look back.

Through this collaboration, we will revisit archived editions of the Kirbyville Banner and East Texas Banner, highlighting stories, faces, and moments that helped shape the fabric of our community. It’s a chance to remember the people, businesses, and events that stitched our region together and laid the groundwork for where we are today.

We believe there is value in reflection — in honoring those who came before us and in preserving the stories that define Kirbyville and the surrounding East Texas area.

If you have old photos of Kirbyville you would like to share, we would love to see them. Please email submissions to Editor@EastTexasBanner.com.

Let’s take a walk down memory lane — together.
