Kirbyville man injured in an ATV accident

At 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, 57-year-old Tracy Green of Kirbyville was riding a 1999 Polaris 400 on County Road 585, near the Newton County line and was badly injured.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety information Officer, Shana Clark, Green was traveling northeast and traveled off the road to the left, where it overturned, causing the four-wheeler to land on top of the driver.

Green was transported to HCA Kingwood in Houston for treatment.
