KCISD early voting begins today

Kirbyville CISD has proposed a tax rate election for the 2024-25 school year and Early Voting starts Monday, October 21st at the Administration Building (Booker-Horn building, 204 E. Main St., Kirbyville, TX 75956) and runs M-F 7 AM-4 PM through November 1st. Approval of the tax rate would cost the average homeowner about $6 as compared to last year's tax rate. The state school finance laws require voter approval to access this part of the Texas public school funding. This would allow the district to be competitive with salaries for teachers/staff, and maintain instructional and extra-curricular programs provided for students.
