Judge Allen has issued Disaster Declaration ahead of Beryl's arrival

Jasper County Judge Mark Allen and Jasper County Commissioners Court have declared a declaration of disaster ahead of Beryl's arrival. This will speed up the process of FEMA and local assistance if needed.

Allen said, "Although the storm's intensity is expected to diminish, the latest weather conference calls are warning us of possible tornado activity along with the increased winds and possible flooding. We'll continue to monitor over the next 24 to 48 hours".
