Jasper PD is investigating a series of auto burglaries

Jasper Police Department is investigating several auto burglaries in Jasper that occurred last week.

Jasper PD Lieutenant Garrett Foster said, "The burglaries occurred sometime during the night of September 19th through the morning of September 20th. One on Linton Lanier,  one on Highland Drive and one on Collier Street.  All are in close proximity to each other, and all vehicles were thought to be left unlocked."

Foster added, "Money, a laptop, and other miscellaneous items were taken. Try to remember to lock vehicles when exiting and remove all valuables at night."
