Jasper Newton Co-op issues statement on power outage

Saturday, April 6, 2024 - 5:30 P.M.

The outages associated with the Jasper, Holly Springs, and McGee Bend areas are related to an interruption in Entergy’s transmission line serving JNEC’s distribution substations. This outage occurred at approximately 3:00 P.M. this afternoon, affecting more than 2,500 members. Entergy is working to restore transmission service to JNEC distribution substations. At this time, we cannot provide an estimated time of restoration.
