Jasper High School Seniors Awarded Nearly $3 Million in Scholarships

Despite stormy weather, Jasper High School’s Class of 2025 was honored during Scholarship Night on May 6 in a celebration held at the JHS Auditorium. Families, students, staff, and community leaders gathered to recognize the achievements of graduating seniors and the support of numerous scholarship providers.
More than 60 local presenters awarded a total of $164,225 in local scholarships, underscoring the community’s commitment to supporting higher education.
In addition to local contributions, students were recognized for receiving $1,723,535 in university-awarded scholarships. Future military enlistees were also acknowledged for tuition assistance and enlistment bonuses totaling an estimated $1,009,998.
In total, Jasper High School’s Class of 2025 has been offered an impressive $2,895,758 in scholarships and financial awards.
The event marked a significant milestone for the students, who will officially graduate on May 23.
