Jasper County Deputy makes Felony warrant arrest in Cougar Country

Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard
On February 1, 2025, at approximately 6:20 PM, a Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputy was patrolling Cougar Country around the area of Doc Davis Rd.
The deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a defective headlamp.
A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Cody Michael Kelley, 33, of Vidor. He was wanted out of Orange County for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Mr. Kelley was arrested and brought to the Jasper County Jail.
Mr. Kelley is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
