Jasper County Deputy makes Drug Arrest on Hwy 190

Jasper, TX. On February 14, 2025, at approximately 12:29 a.m., a Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a license plate violation on US 190 in Jasper.

After stopping the vehicle, the driver admitted to drugs being in the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle and three baggies of a substance believed to be methamphetamines were found along with a scale, meth pipe, baggies and marijuana.
The suspect was identified as Trista Lavergne Frazier, 40, of Jasper. She was arrested and charged with Manufacturer/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (F1) and transported to the Jasper County Jail.
Ms. Frazier is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
I am very proud of the work the men and women are doing at the Sheriff’s Office to keep poison away from our youth and vulnerable people in our county.
