Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard
Jasper County, TX
Today, one of our Sheriff’s Deputies was honored for going above and beyond the call of duty. Deputy Jason Hawthorne received the award from Crimestoppers of Southeast Texas at an awards ceremony in Beaumont this morning. Deputy Hawthorne routinely leads our office with criminal arrests and has made an impact with drug enforcement in our county. He is a hard worker and does an excellent job with proactive police work. Congratulations Deputy Hawthorne!

I would like to thank County Judge Mark Allen, District Attorney Anne Pickle, Major Steve Crowell and our other employees for attending the ceremony.
Big shout out to Jimmy Branch of B&E Resources, Lee Cherry of Admiral Field Services and Andy Whitehead of Whitehead Resources for sponsoring this event. ALL THREE of these businesses are owned by Jasper County residents and their generosity is greatly appreciated.
