Jasper County collaboration regarding the grant funded 440 tower project

Many thanks to the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission for coming up to Jasper County’s Emergency Operations Center Thursday for a collaborative meeting to discuss our grant funded 440 foot new radio tower project currently underway in the Call Junction area and the proposed Phase II plans for another 440 foot tower project in northwest Jasper County, as well as future projects designed to enhance the communications capabilities of our law enforcement, volunteer fire department, emergency management and EMS agencies.

We had an amazing turnout of representatives from the City of Jasper, Jasper County, Buna VFD, Beech Grove VFD, Evadale VFD, Tri-Community VFD, East End VFD, Rayburn VFD, Roganville VFD, the Jasper County Emergency Corps, as well as Emergency Services Districts 1, 2 and 4, Speaker Dade Phelan, and the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Department of Emergency Management and the Jasper Economic Development Corporation.
