Jasper County Chief Deputy Report

Several burglaries and suspicious activity were reported over the last week. Game and security cameras play a major role in solving a lot of these cases, and we are thankful that more and more citizens are using them.

Several throughout the county have suffered loss over this Thanksgiving week, and our prayers are with those who are grieving during this time.

Jasper and Kirbyville held their annual Christmas in the Park celebrations over the weekend. A lot of hard work goes into planning these events and we are appreciative of everyone who dedicates their time to create such a family fun environment.

The Christmas season is upon us. We are taking Blue Santa

applications through Wednesday, December 6, 2023. You can pick

up an application in Jasper at the Sheriff’s Office or in Buna

at our substation. Donations are always welcome at these

locations and several local stores throughout the county. We

appreciate everyone’s time in making sure all children receive a

Merry Christmas.
