Jasper County arrest one on two felony warrants

On January 29th, 2025, at approximately 6:10 p.m., a Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputy made a traffic stop on a motorcycle for displaying the wrong license plate. The traffic stop occurred just south of Kirbyville.
During a driver’s license check it was discovered that the operator of the motorcycle, 29-year-old Chase Breaux of Hardin County, was wanted on two felony warrants. One was an MTRP warrant out of Hardin County for a Felony- Burglary of Habitation. The other one was a bond forfeiture warrant out of Jefferson County for Felony-Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
Mr. Breaux was arrested and brought to the Jasper County Jail. Mr. Breaux is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
