Jasper County Area Go Texan represents at World Series

Jasper County Area Go Texan Competes in American Royal World Series of BBQ.

Regional BBQ team, Jasper County Area Go Texan collected 2 Ribbons, 13th place in the Sausage category and 23rd place in the Chicken Category.

Jasper County Area Go Texan representative said "We are PROUD!!"

Approximately 500 Teams turned out for the event held in Wyandotte County, Kansas.

American Royal awards over $1 million a year in Agricultural scholarships.

According the the American World Series' website, is a Kansas City tradition since 1899, the American Royal is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to be the nation’s leader for food and agriculture education, events, and engagement.
