Tomorrow, April 23rd, is a big day for some Jasper County Jail Inmates. The much anticipated “Inside Out Recovery Initiative” will begin at our jail. This program is an early step in the continuum of care, helping individuals begin or strengthen their recovery journey while still incarcerated. After release, participants are welcomed into Loula Foundation’s extended recovery program for continued guidance and healing. We are doing everything we can to help people with addiction so that they can be productive members of society and we hope this program will significantly reduce the recidivism rate in Jasper County.
I would like to thank Cindy Perez, CEO of Cat5 Resources, for her unwavering support with this program. I believe her foundation’s generosity will make a gigantic impact with the addiction problems in our county. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is excited about this partnership and we will continue to do everything we can to help people who are incarcerated in our jail.
