SAN AUGUSTINE, TX — The San Augustine Public Library is inviting local families to its recurring "HomeSchool Hangout," a community-focused program designed to bring homeschooling students together for social and creative growth. Held every other Monday at 1 PM, the sessions provide a relaxed environment where children of all ages can enjoy storytelling, engage in hands-on crafts, and build lasting friendships outside the traditional classroom.
The program aims to be a reliable resource for the East Texas homeschool community, offering a vital space for students to interact and parents to network. To keep the program accessible for busy schedules, registration is not required, and all ages are welcome to participate.
The upcoming spring sessions are scheduled for February 23, March 9, and March 23. Following the final March date, the program will take a seasonal break before resuming in September. Residents are encouraged to visit the library on East Columbia Street to join the fun and learn more about this ongoing community staple.
