Newton - Homecoming Blowout

NEWTON, Texas - The Newton Eagles delivered a complete blowout Friday night, defeating Kountze 72-0 in a dominant performance. Newton took control early, overwhelming the Lions with a relentless defense and explosive offense that scored through the air, on the ground and on special teams.

The victory marked the Eagles’ 83rd consecutive district win, securing first place in district standings. Homecoming festivities added to the celebration, with the parade set to begin at 2 p.m. Saturday.
