Hello, I am Kevin Holloway, your Jasper County Commissioner for Precinct 2. I am asking for
your vote and support as I seek re-election in 2026 as the Republican candidate. Just days
after being elected in 2022, my wife Susan and I were blessed with twin daughters, Hanna
and Lyla, who are growing up too fast!
During my first term as Precinct 2 Commissioner, I gained valuable experience in local
government, leadership, and infrastructure. I'm proud to have completed the Commissioners’
Court Advanced Training Curriculum through the County Judges and Commissioners
Association of Texas. This advanced certificate exceeds the state-mandated training
requirement, consisting of over 130 hours of education in a voluntary program to demonstrate
commitment to quality in service to the public and the ability to master the complex issues of
local governance in these challenging times.
I also helped secure a major Community Wildfire Defense Grant from the U.S. Forest Service,
which created area jobs, provided new equipment, and strengthened our ability to prevent
and respond to wildfires.
Other notable accomplishments this past term include:
• Repaved Victoria Drive (1 mile) and Pinehurst Drive (0.6 mile)
• Chip and seal improvements on 3 miles of County Road 317. Texas Materials
estimated the project cost at $350,000, but I utilized Precinct 2 crew, lowing the cost to
$195,631.57 – saving taxpayers over $150,000
• Completion of major road and drainage projects on County Roads 200, 317, 328, and
323 through GLO grant funding
• Completion of the Jasper County Bell Field Airport fuel depot project with 12,000 gallon
Jet A and 6000 gallon 100LL fuel tanks, plus a self-service system with card pay. This
new system provides Air Rescue with the proper fuel services, which was instrumental
in their commitment to stationing a rescue helicopter and crew in Jasper at all times.
• Runway expansion, lighting upgrades, and terminal building remodel at Jasper County
Bell Field Airport
Throughout my term, we have faced several natural disasters and the Precinct 2 crew always
stepped up and served our community with unwavering dedication.
I'm guided in every decision I make by my conservative values rooted in God, Family,
integrity, transparency, and commitment. I will continue to prioritize infrastructure, public
safety, economic growth, and fiscal responsibility. I am committed to working closely with
local, state, and federal partners to improve our community. I am dedicated to supporting our
Fire Departments, Emergency Medical Services, and Law Enforcement for the safety of you,
your family, and property.
It is an honor to serve as your Jasper County Precinct 2 Commissioner, and I humbly ask for
your vote and support so I may continue working for the people of Jasper County
