Fugitive Arrested in North Jasper County on Assault Charges

Thursday evening at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Jasper County Sheriffs Office received information that 36-year-old Robert Osby of Jasper was at a residence in the 100 block of Cr 120. Osby was wanted by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office for Assault Family Violence-Impeding Breath, a 3rd Degree Felony.

Sgt Chris Wade was immediately deployed to the address where Osby was located inside the residence. He was placed under arrest and booked into the Jasper County Jail.

Osby is considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
