Florence Soisson Nov. 3, 1928 - April 14, 2024

A celebration of Florence A. Soisson’s life, age 95, of Brookeland, Texas, will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2024 at St. Raymond’s Catholic Church, 283 FM 1007, Brookeland, Texas. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the start of service at the church.

Florence died Sunday, April 14, 2024 at her home in Brookeland, Texas.

A native of Jersey City, New Jersey and resident of Houston, Texas for many years, Florence has been a resident of Brookeland, Texas since 1981.

Florence is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Soisson of Houston, Texas and Melissa Soisson Colletto and husband Bert of Poulsbo, Washington; son, Scott Soisson and his wife Rebecca of Jasper, Texas; grandchildren, Jacob Scott Soisson and wife Jessica, Emily Sue Soisson and Michael Wayne Soisson; great-grandchildren, Jace Michael Soisson and Jack Robert Soisson; sister-n-law, Rita Soisson of Randolf, New Jersey and niece, Lynn Logg of Milford, New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Catherine Lehr; husband, Robert “Bob” Soisson, brother, Frank Lehr and sister, Rita Radar.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
