East End VFD assists U-Haul drive after leaving roadway

At 4:06 AM, Tuesday morning, East End Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle accident on HWY 63 East and County Road 277.


Upon arrival, crews discovered a U-Haul truck had left the roadway and entered the ditch, encountering brush. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, although the driver received medical evaluation by EMS.


Appreciation is extended to Jasper County Sheriff's Office and Texas Department of Public Safety for their response. East End VFD deployed 2 Engines, 1 Brush Truck, and 6 personnel.
