Early morning downed tree blocked Hwy 63E Until cleared

At 4:47am East End Volunteer Fire Department was called to HWY 63 E just before the Jasper/Newton county line for a tree in the road.

The department shut 63 down for about 30-40 minutes so crews could work on getting all the debris off the road.

They responded with 2 engines 1 brush truck and 5 personnel.
