Early morning car fire resulted in a complete loss

At 4:32 am Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire on CR 103. Arriving units found an early 90’s model Ford Bronco in the roadway and on fire.

The fire was quickly extinguished.

No injuries resulted from the fire. The driver stated that he had been working on the vehicle and it had just become operational. He was driving it when a fire started in the engine compartment.

The vehicle was a total loss.

BGVFD responded with Engine 11 and 4 firefighters.
