DEWEYVILLE, Texas — Residents in the Deweyville area say they have gone nearly a week without mail delivery and are reporting confusion and inconsistent information from the Orange Post Office.

Several customers say postal staff told them the regular carrier had called out last week and that no updates were available on when service would resume. One resident said they were encouraged to contact federal authorities after days without mail.
Other complaints include packages marked “delivered to parcel locker” that were not found in any locker, with one resident saying they were told the designation was used “so it doesn’t show they aren’t delivering.”
Multiple residents say they have filed reports with the U.S. Postal Service and were instructed to escalate their concerns.
