This Deer Season came and went with a good turn out for our Deer Down Exclusives.

November 1 2025. 30 minutes after legal light. Roganville. 10pt. CVA cascade caliber.270 win. Appeared on the run chasing a doe. As quick as it came he disappeared. 2 young does appeared and he came out to eat with them.

south texas lease that my group has leased for 5 years, this buck was one that showed up on camera one morning during the rut that we haven’t saw yet. I loaded up, drove 7 hours to get a glimpse of him that evening, but wasn’t able to get a shot, stayed the night, hunted him the next morning, he came out 335 yards for a short time chasing a doe, again unable to get a shot. Went back that evening and he came back chasing some doe’s, he finally quartered at 218yrds giving me the shot I needed. Blessed for the opportunity to be able to enjoy God’s creation, and enjoy the outdoors!
