Burn Ban has been dropped in Jasper County

Jasper County Judge Mark Allen and the Jasper County Commissioners met on Friday evening and have decided to rescind the County-wide burn ban, joining neighboring counties in eliminating penalties.

Of course reasonable care should still be taken when doing outside burning regardless of ban. But as of today, there are no penalties for outside burning in Jasper County.
