BUNA, Texas — The Buna Volunteer Fire Department spent the morning with students from KD Kiddie Care, giving them a hands-on lesson in fire safety.

The children toured a fire truck, met firefighters and learned about fire safety through demonstrations such as “stop, drop and roll.” They also had the chance to try on firefighting gear and hear the truck’s sirens.
Teachers said the students were excited and engaged throughout the visit, gaining valuable knowledge about what to do in an emergency.
KD Kiddie Care staff thanked the Buna Volunteer Fire Department for taking time to educate and inspire their young learners during Fire Safety Week.
