Buna man arrested Saturday for felony warrants

Earlier today, 59-year-old Jamie Brooks of Buna was arrested on warrants issued by Jasper County Judge Mark Allen for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon-3rd Degree Felony, Stalking-also a 3rd Degree Felony and Criminal Trespass with a Firearm- Class A Misdemeanor.
These charges stem from an incident from April 18th, 2025, in Jasper County where Brooks was originally arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. After further investigation, more charges were filed because of the incident in April. Brooks was transported to the Jasper County Jail.
Brooks is considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
