Buna man arraigned and charged with murder has been identified

18-year-old Cody Dwayne Vann, of Buna, Texas has been formally charged with First Degree Murder in the death of 18-year-old Arthur Logan Orosco also from Buna. He is currently in the Jasper County Jail on a $1 million bond set by JP6 Brett Holloway.

As we reported yesterday;

Early this morning around 2:30 am, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a body lying on the shoulder of Hwy 96 in Buna South of Tractor Supply.

When Deputies arrived, they assessed the scene and determined that the man appeared to be the victim of a homicide.

The man was later identified as 18-year-old Arthur Logan Orosco of Buna.

An autopsy has been ordered and we will update our readers as more information becomes available.
