Buna Chamber, Success & Forward Progress

BUNA, TEXAS - The Buna Chamber of Commerce voted Monday evening to make grants available to chamber members through an application process.  

The chamber met in the regular monthly meeting to address several topics including displaying flags, a sweatshirt/hoodie drive, events and fund raisers.

Murder Mystery was a huge success, becoming the best fund raiser this year with over $1280 raised. The board is currently discussing options to make Murder Mystery a quarterly event.

The board discussed ways to increase chamber value for those who are business members. The chamber voted to provide grants to member businesses through an application process that would be evaluated by a member committee. The board is hoping that this will inspire more membership if businesses know there are funding opportunities available.   

Lux Glo Tanning Studio is the Business of the Quarter for the final quarter of 2025.

The first annual

Sweatshirt/Hoodie Drive will take place from November 24^th – December 10^th.

The chamber website is currently undergoing redesign with a lot of updated features that will benefit users and members alike.
