Brookeland woman stopped for traffic violation, arrested on a possession charge

Sunday evening, at approximately 6:50 p.m., a Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle for expired registration on FM 255 just north of Jasper.
The deputy conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. According to the report, methamphetamines were located inside the vehicle. The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Victoria Wilson of Brookeland.

Wilson was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, which is a State Jail Felony and she was booked into the Jasper County Jail.
Havard wants to remind the public that Wilson is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
