Arctic Weather Update

We couldn't let those to the north have ALL the weather... As low pressure moves up the Texas coastline today and tonight, expect widespread cold rainfall to continue falling over southeast Texas and southwest/central Louisiana. This may lead to nuisance and/or flash flooding in urban and low lying areas.

Besides rainfall, strong winds will develop and spread from west to east into the forecast area this afternoon.

A Wind Advisory will be in effect for areas along and south of I-10 from 3 PM for those in Texas/Cameron Parish and from 6 PM for those through to St. Martin Parish.

The strong flow and storm system will drive up coastal waters during high tide tonight. As such, a Coastal Flood Advisory will be in effect for coastal areas from 9 PM tonight to 3 AM Friday (tomorrow morning.)
