Albert Noah Hughes, 76 of Spurger, Texas passed away March  9, 2024 at his home on the Neches River

.

He was born May 21, 1947 in Jasper, Texas to Noah and Myrtle Hughes and was a retired project engineer in pipeline construction.

Albert was a 50 year member of Nathan Corley Masonic Lodge in Kirbyville and many other organizations.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Hughes of Spurger; four children, Kimberly Favre of Elberta, Alabama, Cindi Louvere & Terry of St. Martinsville, Louisiana, Tina Betts of Georgetown, Delaware, and Mike Grunden of Spurger; brothers, Dennie and Jeanette Hughes of Kirbyville, Floyd and Linda Hughes of Kirbyville; sisters, Avrie and Deport Foxworth of Kountze, and Aline Mora of Irving; 7 grandchildren, Candice Shelton, Samantha Akin, Braydan Farve, Kaleb Crosby, Emily Salak, Jaden Grunden, and Charlotte Grunden; 9 great grandchildren, Lucas, Kaiden, Gavin, Carson, Jaxson, Cyler, Michael, Lillian, and Grayson; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, April 6, 2024 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.
