A Crime So Fun, It’s Criminal: “The Fatal Fifties Affair” Hits Hemphill

HEMPHILL, TX — Put on your poodle skirts and leather jackets—there’s a mystery brewing at the vineyard. The Hemphill Little Theater, in partnership with Pineywoods Vineyard and Vicious Fire Kooken, has announced a special "Dinner & A Show" interactive event: The Fatal Fifties Affair.

Scheduled for two nights only, February 20 and 21, the event promises an immersive evening of 1950s nostalgia, suspense, and fine dining.

An Interactive Experience

This isn't your typical sit-back-and-watch performance. Guests are encouraged to channel their inner detectives to solve a murder mystery while interacting directly with the cast. To lean into the theme, the organizers are even offering prizes for the best 50s-themed costumes.

The Menu

Vicious Fire Kooken will be serving an extensive Italian Buffet, featuring:

• Tuscan Salad with fresh Italian bread

• Rigatoni al Pomodoro and Italian Smoked Chicken Quarters

• Tuscan White Bean & Spinach Bake

• Sausage, Peppers, & Onions in Nonna’s Sauce

• Lemon Ricotta Cake for dessert

Event Details

The evening kicks off at Pineywoods Vineyard, located at 101 North Oak St. in Hemphill.

• 6:00 PM: Cash Bar opens (featuring local wine and beer)

• 6:30 PM: Dinner is served

• 7:00 PM: Showtime

Tickets are $50 and are available for purchase at the Hemphill Little Theater, Pineywoods Vineyard, or online at www.actorsstudioinc.com. Given the interactive nature of the show, seating is limited, so early booking is recommended.

Whether you're looking for a unique date night or a fun evening with friends, this celebration of the 1950s offers a chance to indulge in local flavors while catching a killer.
