Forecast Discussion

A break in the heavy, flooding rains is expected tonight and Saturday across SE Texas.  Still, there will be a 20-30% coverage Saturday with even sun and highs in the lower 80s.

Sunday looks stormy with rain and thunderstorms likely due to an upper-level disturbance currently in Southern California.

Monday the 6th, small chances return to the forecast under partly sunny skies.

Warmer, dry weather finally returns to SE Texas Tuesday the 7th and Wednesdasomey the 8th.

A slight chance is forecast late Thursday mainly in the Lakes Area ahead of a cold front.

The cold front will sweep through SE Texas Friday Morning the 10th with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday the 12th and Monday the 13th, cool mornings are forecast with mostly sunny, warm afternoons with low humidity.
