Patchy light rain is forecast mainly for the Triangle Friday Evening ahead of an upper level trough. Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies are forecast with lows in the middle to upper 60s.

The weekend looks warm, humid and dry with highs near to around 90.

Next week into the Memorial Day Weekend looks hot, humid and dry in the Triangle thanks to a ridge of high pressure which will cap the atmosphere. However, scattered showers and thunderstorms may clip the Lakes Area the next Thursday as the ridge weakens a bit. Lows will warm into the middle 70s with highs around 90 to the lower 90s.
